State Licensing Exam

The Ohio State Board of Cosmetology requires applicants to pass both exams before being granted a license.

  • Theoretical Exam – this exam consists of one hundred ten (110) multiple-choice questions that must be completed within ninety (90) minutes or less. Topics include:
