State requirements for esthetician licensing in Ohio:

  • Has attained 10th-grade education or equivalent
  • Completion of an esthetician program that offers at least 600 hours of training.

The Ohio Board allows a maximum of five (5) years for would-be examinees to partake in the said exams. If the exam is postponed beyond the aforementioned period, students must enroll again before taking the exams.
