State Requirements for Cosmetology Licensing in New Mexico

The basic steps toward working as a licensed cosmetologist in New Mexico are:

How Much Do New Mexico Cosmetology Programs Cost?

On July 1, 2022, the board began using PSI services to conduct all exams. After you pass the written test, you can schedule a practical test. Your school will determine your eligibility and provide the information you need to register for the exam.
